Dispatch board

Awaiting a decision

A pending request holds its slot, so nobody else can take it. Unanswered requests expire automatically.

Inspection forecast

Hours remaining against what is already booked. Booked hours run above flown hours, so this is the pessimistic reading — the right direction for an inspection.

Training progress

Lessons is the syllabus. Requirements is the regulation — a student can finish every lesson and still be short a bucket.

Subscribe in your calendar

Add your bookings to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook. The subscription updates itself — you never re-import anything.

Treat this like a password. Anyone with the link can see this schedule — there is no sign-in on a calendar subscription, so the link is the credential. Revoke it if it gets out; a new one takes a second.

How to add it

Apple Calendar — File → New Calendar Subscription, paste, and set Auto-refresh to Every 15 minutes.
Google Calendar — Other calendars → + → From URL, paste.
Outlook — Add calendar → Subscribe from web.

One thing worth knowing: Google decides its own refresh rate and it is slow — often many hours, sometimes a day. Apple lets you pick, so it can be as quick as 15 minutes. Use the calendar for "what am I flying this week". For a change made an hour ago, this page is the truth.

Read-only, deliberately. Bookings can only be made here, where the conflict, availability and approval rules are enforced — dragging something in Google Calendar can't create a flight that skips them.

Leave blank to use the recorded flight time. Hobbs always wins when given — it is what the maintenance programme is denominated in.
